Privacy Policy

This document is an initial template describing how eventory intends to handle personal data. It is provided as a starting point and has not yet been reviewed by qualified legal counsel. Before publishing this policy in production or onboarding real customers, have it reviewed against applicable data protection law in every jurisdiction where eventory operates, including GDPR (EU/EEA) and equivalent regional regulations.

1. Who we are

Eventory ("eventory", "we", "us") provides rental management software for photobooth, 360 booth, audio guestbook and event equipment rental businesses, available at eventory.pro. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used, stored and protected.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use eventory, we may collect:

Account data: name, work email, company name, password (hashed), and billing details.
Customer and booking data you enter: details about your own clients, events, bookings, equipment, quotes and staff, entered by you or your team into the workspace.
Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and interactions with the product, used to maintain and improve the service.
Communications: messages you send us through contact forms, the request-access form, or support channels.

3. How we use data

We use personal data to provide and operate the eventory service, process subscriptions and payments, respond to support and sales requests, maintain security and prevent abuse, and improve the product over time. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). Eventory does not store full payment card details on its own servers; card data is handled directly by the payment provider under its own privacy and security terms.

5. Data storage and security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and this section should be expanded with specifics (hosting region, encryption standards, retention periods) once the production infrastructure is finalized.

6. Data sharing

We may share data with service providers who help us operate eventory (such as hosting, email delivery, analytics and payment processing providers), under confidentiality and data processing agreements. We may also disclose data if required by law.

7. International transfers

As an international SaaS product, data may be processed in countries other than the customer's own. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) will be put in place for cross-border transfers.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@eventory.pro.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the service and to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations. Account and booking data is generally retained for the duration of an active subscription plus a reasonable period afterward, to be defined in the final policy.

10. Cookies

Eventory may use essential cookies required for authentication and basic site functionality. Any additional analytics or marketing cookies will be disclosed here and subject to consent where required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered customers by email or through the product.
